Google Business Profile Scorecard

Score any Google Business Profile — yours or a competitor’s — across the same 29 weighted criteria I use when I audit a listing for a client. According to BrightLocal’s 2024 Local Search Consumer Report, 98% of consumers used the internet to find information about a local business in the past year, and for most of them your Google Business Profile is the first impression — before they ever reach your website.

Grade it live below. If your score comes back lower than you’d like, skip the guesswork — request a free personal audit and I’ll tell you exactly what to fix first.

What your grade actually means

  • A / B: Solid foundation — small optimizations left, likely a review-velocity or posting-cadence gap.
  • C: Real visibility is being left on the table — usually category, service area, or NAP consistency issues.
  • D / F: The profile is actively costing you map pack rankings. This is fixable, usually within 30-45 days once corrected.

Got your score? Here’s what to do with it

The scorecard tells you what’s wrong. If you’d rather have a second set of eyes confirm the fix priority — or you scored a C or below — request a free human-reviewed audit. I’ll look at your actual profile, your local competition, and your current rankings, then send you a written list of what to fix first. No cost, no obligation.
