Take lots of pictures

I love building websites and marketing within the owner/operator service industry businesses they know that it takes hard work and dedication to be successful at their business… as do I.

One of the many suggestions that I give to small businesses when I work with them to build their website and help them establish/enhance their online presence is: Take a ton of pictures!

No kidding: Get as many pics as possible of you and the types of equipment you work on and/or the work you do. Obviously, we won’t be able to use them all on a website… but the more pics we have to choose from, the better! Think about Facebook, Yelp, Google Business Profile, Instagram, Twitter (X), etc. Don’t be shy: take lots of pictures.

Have a friend or family member take pictures. Even with their phone. Just take pictures. Some will be blurry, some won’t be framed correctly… just take lots of pictures and between the 2 of us—we will make your online presence great.

Animations and logos are a great way to get brand recognition. Again: If the budget doesn’t allow for a professional designer have family & friends draw something up. If needed: we can use many free and/or low cost tools to make the drawings stand out.
